Thanks Georgia. The saga continues. We do have her in a little pen in the garage by herself. Our feedstore that is the closest would be L & M Fleet about 105 miles away. I was thinking of going to the vet this a.m. to see if they would give us something to use. I checked on her a couple of hours after posting this and she had a big bulge. Got hubby to help. It was a dry egg, quite large. Had to break it in pieces to get it out. I am confident we got all the shell out. She doesn't look to good on the hiney tho and there was a little blood in trying to get the egg out. Put more prep H on and tucked in the prolapse again. This morning she seems to be resting ok and not in much distress.

The Prep H is good, so do you have any kind of chicken liquids at all? Rooster Booster, Red Cell? How about a feed store. Any feedstore should carry a limited amount of antibiotics.
