Do you think the Silkies that are sparring with the very male Cochin are cockerels? A couple of them will face off with the Cochin, stand six inches apart, chest lowered, head forward looking very much like a runner in the starting blocks. Sometimes they'll jump up and bump chests, sometimes they just try to stare each other down.
