Debbie,
I have pet water bottles hanging in cages, which prevents them getting
their water dirty, but they seem to knock these down often, and poop on
them. At least the water they drink from them is clean - the poop
doesn't get inside them.
My outside chickens are a different story. I need to get a covered five
gallon bucket or two with nipples, hanging in the shed to keep them from
spilling out their buckets they now use.
