I did the spray, by hand, several years ago. It's kept brush hogged every other week. The pasture it rotated what is mowed when so not all of it is short at the same time. I am not using any of it right now. I can't pick up bales of hay so I do not have horses, donkey, anything that eats hay. It's good grass.

<<I have 10 acres of pasture; half of it is good quality horse with the weeds killed out with pasture spray. I hand weed it when I see an undesirable weed. Maybe I should look into getting it cut and baled for part of the harvest.>>
I would... If nothing else, a once-a-year mowing will keep the field open. <g> Someone must need hay locally, if you can't use it all! Is there someone near you that does mowing and baling?
