We had a problem with a rooster too. I think I posted about it before, so I won’t go into it too much now. He’d watch for me and plan his attacks. He’d hide and jump out in front of me. He’d pretend to be interested in something on the ground, while he was watching me. He’d step closer and closer and then he’d fly at me. The last straw was when he tried to get me from the nesting box when I was gathering eggs.

Just about one year old.
It's normal, and he'll be good on biscuits.
Some people claim they've stopped it, or cured it.
I never was able to, and have had a couple of them hurt me pretty good.
