We have a little roo about the size of a cornish game hen who hates my son. He swells up and tries to look like a bad boy. We just kind of laugh and ignore him...I've heard you can pick them up and carry them around for a good long while when they act up, or cage them when they get all huffy---both take the little man down a step in the flock. But if I had a vicious bigger rooster, I don't know. I would probably get rid of him, just so no one gets hurt.

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Information needed on Rooster
Hello everyone, I have not posted mostly a lurker here, but I need some information. I have a Buff Orpington Rooster just about a year old that has started to attack me when I go in to feed them. The ladies like to be petted and I do that but He gots very angry when I go in the coop. Is this a normal behavior or is there something I can do?
