RE: [CHICKENS-101] got a question

 

            I wouldn’t change the 14 wk olds diet until closer to 20 months and possibly 24, depending on breed.  The layer pellets have calcium, which they will need for egg laying, but until they are laying, I would continue with the chick feed.  That’s what I do, anyway.

i have some chickens that are almost 14 weeks old and i know they should be going on to the layer feed but i also have some chickens with them that are only 10 weeks old would it be ok for them to have the layer feed or do i need to seperate them till they are older?
