Re: [CHICKENS-101] Hawk attack, grrr! String across a run

Got the cover finished today. And have the sunburned shoulders also.
We went to TSC yesterday to get wire for around the bottom (it's a dog kennel) and I had enough of the plastic poultry netting to do almost all of the top. Used a tarp to cover the rest for now.
The beasty did come back the next eve, but I went out soon as the chickens went off. Didn't return tonight. Hoping it was just migrating.
So proud of the little one's in there this eve. They actually put themselves to bed in their crate! Finally. Getting tired of rounding up chicks with a flashlight in one hand.

How frustrating!!  Fruit tree netting at Walmart is cheaper and goes farther.

Well I finally decided to let my standards/can be replaced bantams and Indian Runners free range. I put everyone on lock down last Fall due to foxes. 2 weeks go by. No problems.
