Cutting a birds throat open is something for a veterinarian to do. just FYI, I did get an estimate to have that done at a vet's office one time and they quoted me 450 dollars, more than what it would cost to spay a large dog. thankfully my hen didn't have impacted crop, it was just thrush The few times I had hens with impacted crop I just give them applesauce mixed with oil and they gobble it up and I massage their crop, has always worked Marlene, Nevada, USA |
