[CHICKENS-101] Baby chickens

 

I have a Old english small chicken on eggs, and I have a barred rock shoving her over and stashing her eggs in there, well her rooster is a lacy whyndot, not sure how you really spell it. and the two babies I've seen are black guess they will end up being what the father is. Last I saw she had 7 eggs, not sure all will make it, it's freezing weather out. and will be freezing weather for all this week. I don't really have a heated pen for them, but she has a brooder light off to the side of her nest incase the babies get out they have a place to go to get warm. This is my first time with chickens in the snow.....

But they are there under this and that running around..........guess they'll live..........others have chickens in the snow.
