I have him in a box in the house - giving him 81mg aspirin every 4 hours. Nurtri-drench.
Hand "feeding" him water through syringe. On Sat, Aug 2, 2014 at 2:57 PM, 'Deb and Randy Buckler' gotrandy@tcsn.net [CHICKENS-101] <CHICKENS-101@yahoogroups.com> wrote:
Donna, that poor boy probably has spinal damage, from when the fox grabbed him. He might have appeared "fine" at first, but he was probably pumped full of adrenalin. Now, what ever injury he has might be swelling and or bleeding internally. You might try keeping him in a quiet box, with access to food and water.....I hate to say it, but this doesn't look good. I went through this with a hen a long time ago and she lived several days in a sort of coma, not being able to move or lift her head. So terribly sad. Many blessings~Deb
