I missed a good sort-of-dead-chicken one this morning... The hens had settled for their "elevenses" (tea break) along the foundation of the house, in the sun, where it's always dry, just lovely for dusting. One of them was wallowed well in, with her fluffy butt pushed way up against the stone foundation, her beak almost buried in the dirt, and her eyes with that catatonic, half-lidded look when they are enjoying the rays. Alas, when I got back with the camera, she'd snapped out of it! Rhonda STOP CORPORATE ABUSE--BAN ALL GMOs!
