Thanks Cathryn. I had her euthanized at the vet yesterday. You were right, it had to have been Mareks. She was so uninterested and confused. She was not eating, and the day before we had her euthanized, she stopped standing up. She just flopped over like in the pictures I've seen online of Mareks. It's a shame... this ominous, deadly virus is always lurking apparently.

PS All vaccination for mareks does is give them mareks and supposedly protect the birds from mareks cancer tumors. Why I do not vaccinate, my birds are bred resistant or they die. They die from it eventually anyways if stressed (molting, new birds, hot or extreme cold temps), why introduce another strain on the property. I have a strain/cross of reds where 3 were not resistant and they had to be put to sleep. I know now not to back breed the new reds to each other but to mine only.
