No, no quarantine.  Mareks( lymphocytic leukocytosis) is every where there are and or have been poultry.  The only other thing I know of that can cause gray eye and thinness is mycoplasma gallesepticum; it doesn't cause irregular iris though.  Both cannot be cured and when the bird is seriously sick the kindest thing you can do is to put them to sleep.  Small box hen will fit in, garbage bag, can of spray engine starter (has ether in it), put your hen in the small box down inside a garbage bag, (outside), put your hand/arm in with the engine starter, wrap the bag around your wrist, spray the side of the bag next to the box for 45-60 seconds, shaking the can once in awhile. Carefully, quickly take your arm out trying to not let the starter out. Seal up the bag, put the bag with your hen somewhere quiet for over night. In the morning, take her out and bury her under the drip line of a favorite tree.
Since both diseases are common, cannot be cured, I'd not spend the money on testing ~ there is nothing you can do about either since neither can be cured.  It's just my unasked for 2 cents.
Bless you for taking in all of the birds you do and for giving them a loving home.

I was afraid of that :-(  Ugh.  If she tests positive for Mareks, I think we have to go under quarantine right?  But can't birds test a false positive for mareks if they have been vaccinated for it?
