Donna, that poor boy probably has spinal damage, from when the fox grabbed him. He might have appeared "fine" at first, but he was probably pumped full of adrenalin. Now, what ever injury he has might be swelling and or bleeding internally. You might try keeping him in a quiet box, with access to food and water.....I hate to say it, but this doesn't look good. I went through this with a hen a long time ago and she lived several days in a sort of coma, not being able to move or lift her head. So terribly sad.
Many blessings~

My rooster was attacked by a fox on Tuesday. We were able to get the fox to drop him and the rooster ran off to hide; seemed okay. He was fine Tuesday night and Wednesday. I have no idea what could have happened during Wed night. He was roosting with the girls when I left him. Thursday am, he was still on the roost. That's when I noticed he couldn't lift his head. Thursday morning he was very lethargic. I lifted him off the roost and his head just drooped. Today, we have him in the house - hand feeding him some water through a very small syringe. He can't seem to lift his head. He can stand up on his own, but has no control of his head.Donna, MA
