[CHICKENS-101] frost bite

One of my hens was sick this winter. We brought her inside for 2 weeks and she seemed to recover. When we put her back it became clear that she was not being allowed to roost with the others. Even though I have a heat lamp and their coop is inside a barn with heavy plastic enclosing it in the winter her feet apparently became frostbit. We noticed her holding up one foot just a couple of weeks ago. One toe appeared broken so we thought she injured it. I had a vet come out for my goats and had her look at the hen. In just a week her toes have turned black!  The vet said they might fall off! Now the hen is just sitting on the roost and won't come out. I had 2 roosts and one was higher and slightly smaller than the other . That is where they would roost . I took the smaller one down and now there is room for all six of them and she is not kicked off. They all seem to get along as there is no pecking . Will she be ok? Is there anything I can do to make her more comfortable? I use hay and straw on the floor. Should I get some shavings? Separate her?

Thank you!
