Shannon, I went over to Michelle's last night to pick up a young, coal black cockerel with deep black skin, with a very nice comb. There are two white cockerels (again to add in another blood line), and two self blues. All are the gangly stage but thankfully Michelle has a decent eye. I need to add in another blood line to keep things fresh. The self blue pullet has a very full beard - one of my favorite traits in silkies. I was supposed to go with Michelle but needed to work late, check on silkies, and feed and water. I still pitched in my share of the gas and motel money, fair is fair.
