Re: [CHICKENS-101] Day 2 chicks setting in.

Your husband's name suggestions are pretty cute. Here are some more including my first suggestion. Naming chickens is so much fun!
Noi
– Noi means "beautiful."
Peri – Peri means "fruit" in Hebrew. eggs can be considered the fruit of their food they eat
Gabby- Gavriella (Gabriella) - Gavriella (Gabriella) means "God is my strength."
Nary - I don't remember the origins of the name, it means "beautiful red one", when I found it. I named a beautiful bantam          wyandott Nary. At one time I had all kinds of baby name books I used to name my chickens.
Sassy - Sassafras, Sassy for short
Angle Face or Rose after lavender roses.
My lavender BlueBeri is named after the name Beri.
Darell after the blue butterfly or Butterfly after the name of the color of a flower.

The 3 girls are an australorp bantam, a wyandotte bantam and pekin bantam.Their names might be Daisy,Poppy and Rosie, according to my sister. Her husband would like to call them Canape, Appertiser and Entrée.My husband wants to call them polly ,waffle and chomp after chocolate bars. They are very pretty and I love the pekin's feathered bloomers and the wyandotte's petty coat. Diesel will settle in time.To him they look so tasty and he is a bird hunting dog!!!( springer spaniel)
Day 2 is going well .The girls come out of their nests when you call them and start eating and drinking. the perches are high for the bigger bantams and very low for the pekin.I like her ,she is very cute and lavender in colour. If any one has any names I would be happy to consider them.

stay tuned.........
