I am concerned about our duck who is 3 going on 4. He has lived a life with a broken foot. I have him in a 8x8 and he is one of 9, 6 being chickens. Lately he shivers, Is he cold? we dropped the lamps lower and he hides behind a straw bale. He has cuddles the chicken and momma and a mallard to keep him warm. Is he sick? And while on the topic, I have 4 ducks on other 8x8 connected. they have so much energy and temps below 30, I let them out occasionally but the last time they went in the creek for a few hours and looked like struggling to go back in coop. do u think they were cold? Should I keep them in for winter? I usually only let them out if 40 and above. ty flo
