Yeah, those de-wormers are so toxic. They scare the crap out of me when we use them. I really really hope Romeo is okay.

Jewel, You are right, canola oil can kill a bird, told that in a poultry class to avoid canola. If he is over loaded with worms enough to cause a blockage he should have passed something first worming. I'd not worm again because it's poison.
The rooster could have a tumor from mareks in his digestive system, a piece of glass or string, canker protozoa, sour crop, grass blocking his crop, ...the variables are endless. It's so hard when I cannot hold a bird, smell them, look them over, feel their abdomen, look in their mouth, nares, and ears, and guess from there. I trust Peter Brown's knowledge. There is something unusal going on. Wish I could pullorum test the rooster too.
