Tina, I think it's a great idea. If you raise the worms then you do not have to worry about the worms being an intermediate host for worms. I can not raise worms for my chickens, there are not enough hours in one day to do. I would need so many it would be crazy!

Call me crazy.hahaha.but I am ordering mealworms and red wigglers to raise for my chickens. I use to have the red wigglers for a few years for composting worms......But I decided to get them again for the chickens. Spoiled rotten birds..
