Still no water. They pounded, cut, sawed on the road and water main all night, right outside of the house across the street. Couldn't sleep for the noise. One of the disadvantages of city living. City in the front, can walk to the VFW, gym, stores, and Moy Kong, ET...but we get the noise.
It's country in the back with a river separating us from the subdivisions along the backside. Beautiful area of trees and pasture, river, and pond.
On the right side is woods, and an 8 ft fence along the condos, then 4ft fence with a wire above it along the houses back yards. We used to snow plow and grate their private road for free a until people thought they could start dumping trash on our land, in our pond, over the fence, and use it for their golf ball range. Warned them, then stopped the free favors; I tossed their trash back over the fence.
Left side is woods along the barns and pastures, but a business next to the house. Sent my husband to haul water to the house from his family tavern because he can get hot water there. Thank heavens the chickens are cared for or it would be a really bad situation. Think I'll organize my school clothes and shoes, feed and water, then go to my parents to help in their garden and shower. I can nap there if I need too. :) What am I going to do when school starts and I cannot nap during the day? :0

No warning!! Hope you have water back soon. Thank goodness you have a barn well to fall back on, nuisance though hauling is. (And isn't that always the way--sit down for a moment, and zzzzzzzzzz....)
