[CHICKENS-101] Re: Cantankerous Roo

 

I used to have a nasty tooster who was very sneaky and also attacked me from behind. When I had to do chores, I dropped a laundry basket over him until I was done.

Eventually, he made the mistake of challenging one of the younger toosters who immediately turned him into a chicken pot pie. Problem solved ;)

> Mine just started this too. Bums me out b/c he is really nice for color and size. Mine actually waits till my back is turned and takes a cheap shot. I've been grabbing the water hose and shoot him with that to get him away so I can do chores. I'm thinking of putting him in his own pen till I want fertile eggs, but don't know if that is prudent or not. Good luck with yours!
