Sounds brilliant though. I might try that with my moles. Everything else I've found puts my cats in danger and I need them for rodent control. I'd never say I have no rodents, although I keep things mostly neat to discourage their hanging around. My absent neighbor has let his yard go this year so between the tall grass/weeds and his partially tore down house I've been noticing signs of rodents in my yard lately. Guess I need more cats, some bar bait traps, or to try out this gas method. Lol

My father had a chipmunk infestation in his garden and solved the problem by blocking up all the burrow entrances he could find - except one. He ran a hose from the tailpipe of his car into the last hole, idled his car for about 20 to 30 minutes, and gassed the little buggers.
 
Never give an engineer a problem to solve. They will always come up with something complicated and insidious.
