Subject: [CHICKENS-101] OT: animal control, was destroying animals

 
My mother had two horses - an old American Show Horse and a running quarter horse with good size and a lot of eye appeal. She came home from work one day to find the sherrif, the animal control people and the county commissioner chasing the American Show Horse up and down the highway trying to make it run into a trailer. The running quarter horse was dead from where it ran into a mac truck while running from the animal control people who were trying to run it into the trailer.

My mother asked what was going on with a few choise words added. Sherrif said that "on routine patrol" found her horses on the road, had to take them in.
