[CHICKENS-101] Re: Sneaky dog

You cannot blame the dog for the nature we gave them. They are hunters. They go into holes and chase badgers. A chicken is just a squeaky toy to them. I have two doxies. My boy went after a chicken a couple of times. I told him NO in no uncertain terms. He can now run around the chickens all he wants, he does not bother them. I might remind him to leave them alone, if I think he is forgetting, but have not had to say NO again. This little guy is not the best trained little doxie in the world. You just need to be top dog and be sure they understand that the chickens are yours.
