Linda, you can buy fly predators from organic gardening mail-order
companies, but that will take some time to start working. These are tiny
parasitic wasps that lay their eggs on fly larvae, and the wasp larvae eat up the
fly larvae before they can become flies. Meanwhile, there are fly traps you
can buy that consist of a plastic jar with a hole in the lid filled with a
stinky bait. When it got hot here, I threw mine out because it smelled so
bad, but it sure was catching flies!
