Cath, I'll check tomorrow on the exact charge, I think it's 60.00 or so to get a dog fixed here. They go by weight. I'll see how old they like them to be and let you know.

Pete, You are too funny!!! Three chicken farm 
guardian dogs are my limit. Dixie is 8 yrs, Flori aka Florida is 5 or 6 yrs, and Lily a few weeks old. Lily's father Jake, (yes the famous, fabulous, A.S. Jake), Amber's and her silkies' protector, is going to help train her. Amber and her parents will do the rest. I'll pick up Lily when school lets out in June. The best of both worlds, a trained puppy and 2 trained older dogs. I should see if it is cheaper to get Lily fixed there. It is way cheaper in Florida than here. $240.00 here and $80 in Florida. I have having Flori fixed before she comes home to me. Cathryn
