NEWSLETTER FOR FEBUARY, 2010
PICTURED ABOVE:
Panhead's Queenie,
whelped Sept. 19th, 2009 by Panhead's Busch, sire Panhead's Jr. Gong. Queenie is still available, she would be a nice match for a male with a lot of white on him. Good personality, bright, healthy, energetic dog.

The feral pig corner:
We continue to amass reports of havoc caused by wild hogs running amok, in many sometimes seemingly unlikely states such as Maryland. The ecological damage is immense, especially in states like Texas and Florida where they number in the hundreds of thousands. Remember:
"Feral pig: it's what's for dinner!"
OUR DOG OF THE MONTH: DIXIE BLUE
Dixie Blue is descended from champions, and she whelped some fine litters for us since I was able to trade for her years ago. In order to keep our combinations fresh, we find it a good thing to trade bloodlines with other breeders from time to time. Of course, after 15 or more years of this, the dogs have piled up around here. It is our guiding tenet that the dogs will not suffer so that we may profit, so when a dog is retired we generally support it untill it dies of old age, unless as in Dixie's case, we are lucky enough to place it somewhere as a companion dog. Dixie now lives with a friend in Michigan, tending the farm and living as the pampered only dog. We could not be happier for her, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving dog!

 Ever go to Facebook?
  Visit the Panhead page @
I think that will work. This computer stuff is not my strong suit. There are a lot of dog pictures posted there and some other trivia, day to day little news flashes from the farm and so forth. If you do find the page, we can use all the friends we can get!
The two puppies below remain available from the Wendy/Tabasco litter whelped Nov. 11th, 2009. 1 female (foreground), 1 male. They are being introduced to the hogs at this time.

Thank you for your time and interest in our dogs!
