We've tried ground up oat meal & didn't work for us, thats why we tried the yeast 7 it worked great.

I'd read somewhere that oatmeal-that is, plain old-fashioned rolled oats--was good for pasty butt.  I had two or three with pasty butt in the first few weeks, so every evening they all got a few handfuls of oatmeal.  Seemed to work.
