I had an add on CL and this man called and said he wanted 5 all black chicks
He did not seem to care what breed just that they were 6 inches big and all
black. He said he lived in an exclusive neighborhood several miles from me
and I had a really bad feeling about the whole thing but let him come over.
When he arrived he didn't seem to care about the chicks and just dumped them
in a small box. He then asked me "What other animals do you have for sale?"
???!!!!!!!!!!!! He was looking around and saw some roosters I had in a cage
ready to go to another poultry farm and then he wanted to know how much the
roosters were. I priced them reallllly high because I just wanted him to
leave because I was getting really scared. My hubby was not home from work
yet !!!! He heard my dog barking in the house and kept asking what kind of
dog she was?!!!! The neighborhood he claimed he lived in has such strict
home owners associations in place you even have to have certain bushes and
flowers approved first !!!! So why would he be interested in other
animals??? It really scared me! When he left my hubby said to lock the ranch
gate and all gates leading to our home and now we keep them like that every
day. The next day he called back wanting more chicks but I told him I was
sold out!!!! Then I blocked his # from my phone. Then I started getting
phone calls asking to buy roosters!!!! I did not have any adds up for
roosters! The ones I don't keep I give to a friend who has a poultry farm
too and she sells them out her way! It was very scary soooo be careful of
Craiglist people. Most are great but he was bad news!!!!!!

Have you ever had people call who want to come over to see what you have
even though though you have nothing for sale? Or people who do not want to
buy chickens when you do have them for sale but want to come over and
see/look? They become quite angry when it's explained/told that because of
biosecurity people aren't allowed over.
Is anyone having problems with yahoo? It's only yahoo- I am fine with
everything else, even my school email is fine. I can't open an email unless
I click on reply to sender. After I do I have to go to the news, open up a
new mail window to be able to see my emails. Click on one, (they do not
open), use reply to sender to get the email to open.
