How long did you provide supportive meds? Fowl pox runs a 3 week course.

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Why is hen excluding herself from group
We had 8 hens, 4 barred plymouth rock and 4 RIR. We recently harvested the reds, leaving the 4 rocks and a rock rooster. After this, one of the rock hens has separated herself from the group and hangs out by herself and roosts on random high places (during the day.) She also has begun to consistently chirp and cluck "gently." The remaining 3 hens don't seem to except her and peck her when she gets in their space or ascends the roost rungs. The rooster seems indifferent. They currently have fowl pox (dry) and this loner hen was pretty weak and sickly a few days ago, but has since perked up after receiving time alone in a quartered off section of the hen house where she had easy and exclusive access to medicated water and food. Also, shortly after we harvested the RIR, we left for a few days and the chickens were by themselves in the hen house all days we were gone. (They usually free range during the day.) So what is the explanation of the loner hen's behavior and the exclusion from the other hens? Is it the elimination of the 4 other hens? Change in daily foraging patterns? or illness? Can anyone solve this mystery? Is there anything I can do to get her back in the good graces of the group?
