Re: [CHICKENS-101] Favorite egg dishes

What an awesome egg dish!!!! I like to brown Vidalia and/or green onions just until the start to get soft in a teeny bit of olive oil. Then I add eggs hand whipped in a bowl with fat free canned milk to the onions and a sprinkle of coarse black pepper. Right before they are done I sprinkle them with about 4 crushed Ritz crackers. Sounds funky but it's really good.

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Favorite egg dishes

Do y'all have a favorite egg dish to share? My favorite is a "toad in a hole". Ingredients
1 egg
1 slice of bread
Butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Spread butter on both sides of bread, using cookie cutter cut a hole in the center of the bread place bread in a nonstick skillet on medium high
Carefully crack egg into the hole in the bread being careful not to bust the yolk, when egg is set on bottom carefully flip and cook until done, place the left over "hole" in the skillet and cook until golden brown and delicious.
Well that's it I learned how to cook it with my mom when I was a kid, it was my favorite then and it still is ( guess I'm still a kid at heart)
