I agree, George. It's very nice to see more people posting. With 3500 + members, I know that they're out there somewhere!
I've been a member on this list for many years but for most of those years, I just lurked. Sometimes these groups, (and I'm speaking of all groups) can get a bit `cliquey' and when posts are not acknowledged or conversations get too far off topic and personal, or someone gets slammed for disagreeing, it can cause a reluctance to participate.
Instead of just a few having all the answers, it's much more educational and interesting to hear from more people which gives us all a wider and diverse perspective on information. Newbies, with all their questions, are particularly fun by keeping everyone on their toes and it often results in the more experienced discovering something new or different.
I believe I speak for many when I say that your contributions are always welcomed whether they're about chickens, the weather, teenagers or cleaning up after animals on the Ark.
That said, I too look forward to hearing from newer and older members and hope that we see more folks hitting the keyboard offering their experiences. You don't have to be an expert to join in the discussions; a fondness for feathers and what's happening in your coop are the only requirements ;)
