They carry campylobactor (sp). Its that stuff that gets you sick when food handlers go to the bathroom without washing their hands. Both my kids got it. Bad runny stools! And a state investigation to determine what Restuarants my kids ate at. When my kids got it, I figured it was from the chickens but none of the nurses would believe me. But the doctor knew!!! Once I said" chickens", he quit asking questions and sent us home with medications. Cool thing is, while it makes you very sick, it's like chicken pox, you don't get it again.
