[CHICKENS-101] Re: hawk problem Attn: Ol' George

Hi Anne; cotton or whatever, cheep is good. Biodegradability is best. I wouldn't use fishing line. The stuff is indestructible. The object is to make the hawk think it has no place to land not to injure it. If it can land in the run it will go into the coop. What to do if you catch one? The law is clear as mud. Most predators are fair game if they are attacking livestock. That includes chickens. In some cases transporting wild creatures to another location is illegal. Keeping it is also illegal. In some locations the laws are not enforced in others the animal cops are everywhere.
