Re: [CHICKENS-101] Re: hawk problem Attn: Ol' George

Hi Ol' George,

I hate to bother you again but I had a roll of cotton kite string (520') and
decided to start weaving the line back and forth between the two fences
tonight. I got to thinking after I finished whether you meant cotton, nylon
or polyester. The 520' only covered about 10' of the yard. Before I go out
and buy more string, I'd sure like to know which one is best to use. I can
see that this will work well to keep out that pesky hawk. I'm sure he'll be
back. I can say the cotton is really neat looking and easy to work with. I
also have 10-20-30-40 pound fishing line on hand. I just want to use the
right one to be assured we don't lose any of these precious babies.

Thanks so much for your help.

Anne H.

P.S. When I was growing up, the kite string was cotton. Heaven knows what
the kids are using today. LOL!
