[CHICKENS-101] New To the Group

 

Hi everyone! I am brand new to this group and brand new to raising chickens. Just today I went to the feed store and got 6 Rhode Island Red chicks. This is the first chickens I've ever had. Day after tomorrow I'm going back when the Ameracuana's come in and getting 6 of them. I am so excited about the chicks! I wanted chickens for eggs but I've decided to see how it goes this first year and I might even decided to get a rooster!

I've read through some of the messages and y'all seem like a very knowledgeable and helpful group. I hope to learn from y'all and lean on you for advice in this new endeavor.
