I knew you could help me with this. Now that you mention the feed, I remember that I changed their feed a few month back.
I was using Dumor from TSC, which I heard was actually Purina, so I changed to the brand that my coop uses, Circle M brand. Even though I feed my chickens A LOT, they act starved all the time. I've gone to free choice on their feed along with the calcium too. I've also started giving them in addition, cracked corn and scratch too.
Since I have 7 month old birds who are not laying, I was wondering if I had a nutrition problem or if I was under feeding them, but I never thought the symptoms of my sick birds could be from poor nutrition. Another thing, my birds free range every night from about 6pm til 9pm when it gets dark. I clean their coop out every week and I clean out the run about once a month and put down fresh straw in the damp areas. We've had a lot of rain lately too.
I will take some pictures in the morning and check the dates on the feed bag and get back to you.

I'd check the date on the bag of feed. If the feed is fresh, I'd change to another brand. It if it is not fresh I'd take it back and exchange it for a fresh dated bag of feed. Stay away from Purina they are having vitamin and other problems. Get poultry vitamins in their water until you can get some red cell and mix it in their new feed. If you have red cell and some grain, I'd put some red cell on their grain, pull their feed, and give the red cell on their feed.
I could be wrong but it sounds nutritional to me. Would you send me pics?
