See that's what I thought, it might be.  Because of the red in the neck.  But I didn't know if the Black Cooper Marans females are anything but black with the red.  Funny I went out and bought 6 marans and had a cross here all the time.  

 

So if that is so,  then they are Wyandotte's/bcm and I will only get bcm girls?  Or is the odd blue ones also split to the bcm.  I'll have to look at the other combs, cause I think some of them are different but they are also different ages.  Cool.  I love the dark eggs.
