How do you know how old the feed is when you buy it?

Valerie, On 2nd htought: If you do feed it make sure your chickens get an animal protein source everyday. Doesn't have to be a lot, but they need some. This feed made fresh may be more wholesome than other feeds you can find and supplementing it is ok.
