Congratulations on your ducky eggs, Marla. Mr. Percy ate 1or 2 duck eggs but then the laying Call wanted to raise babies. You may remember Petal dog kept finding the nests. It took the duck 4 attempts before she stashed them where they lasted and hatched. We now have 4 baby Calls, 3 dark and 1 white, toddling around the yard. Growing like little weeds. Hopefully, your laying duck will turn maternal and hatch herself some babies too.

We've always just had mallards and rouens so green eggs. Well we got youngest dd khaki campbell's for her birthday last year. Her female Naomi (yes Naomi Campbell lol) laid her first egg yesterday and another today. Now we have to decide if we continue to eat them or at some point this spring hatch some out. DH is a duck junky.
