I am sorry Jen, I mean to google respiratory illnesses in poultry and look thru for symptoms that match your poultry. I ended up sleeping. I'd probably add off label use tylan at 2000mg per gallon to the duramycin, (can use the soluble power or the tylan 200). I'd probably add 1-3 generic benadryls dissolved in warm water to their water too. Then I'd look for a vet or start combing the internet. Did you add new birds recently? Have they been stressed by anything? Can wild birds get into their pens? Cath
I posted this yesterday, but no one has answered yet... I am trying to figure out what my chickens might have, and what I should do. I have 20 chickens, and about 7 of them, maybe more, have watery eyes. I have 2 that are pretty bad, more mucusy and almost closed.. which looks ike conjuntivitis. But these that are really bad are also listless, just sleeping a lot. I have the real bad ones seperated from the rest. I am giving everyone Duromyacin-10.

Do you think that is about all I can do? I am not sure what else to do. If it is a simple virus.. won't this alone take care of it?
Thanks, Jen
