Michelle, I had a smilar, sad experience. It was the hen who hatched them who took them out. I had no idea, until I saw her do it. She apparently thought the two that hateched first were enough, and thu she continued to sit on the eggs, She killed three that hatched later. I thought they'd simply died after hatching when I found them under her in the a.m.. Then I saw her nail one little turken chick and saw the blood from it's woulds that was all over the box. I had NO idea what to do, so just grabbed it an stuck it under another setting hen that had day old chicks. I was afraid it would be way too cold by the time I got a warm place set up for it, and this hen didn't seem to mind. That's what I did with the other two she hatched, as well. They're all doing fine, even the Turken, who seems to have an indentation under the scab that takes up half his/her little head :(.
So, there's hope.
