This is the hen that was visited by the stork.
They were cute pics so I thought I'd post some. I tried to get her to "nest" the box I provided, but she likes that corner of the cage. So be it.
I got mainly pullets, but I purchased a couple straight run with the hope of a rooster so maybe next year if she goes broody again she can just hatch her own.
By the way, how related is too related for chicken p
I also posted a pic of my other three hens. The two black ones or mystery breeds...anyone have an idea what they are? They have some brown shaded feathering around the chest, and they have feathered feet.
The black and white one is barred rock or dominique maybe, I don't know. She's not really pretty with her foot and her comb, but she is a laying machine.
