But, I would have had to buy the spent grain in very large amounts, different from home brewing situation. Large amounts of wet spent grain presents a different scenario.

We dont buy it, but hubby brews beer and they LOVE it... actually, once the beer he made was from CHICKEN SCRATCH so all they got really was cooked warm scratch like oatmeal...
(the beer was pretty good, I am not a beer lover, but it tasted normal)

at this stage of the production its not fermented or have any alcohol yet...

they get this about 4-5times a year.. .so its more like a treat
