My friend who feeds and waters evenings so I can work late to deal with my paper work and other work called to tell me that I have a white rock hen with a cartoon sized nest of eggs in between bails of straw. This is on top of a standard cornish who found/made a hole under the siding of the coop and was sitting on a mountain of eggs, and hatched a chick. The monsters! It's winter, not spring! I am not happy about all the eggs they wasted!
