Keep changing their bedding every day.  You'd probably do better with shredded paper or chopped hay.  I change my chicks every day, no choice in it if they are to be minimal stinky. Cathryn

We are raising some chicks for some friends, the chicks are 4 weeks old and I am using hay for thier bedding, If I remember you could put lime to help reduce the smell but is it harmfull to chicks, they will hopefully be picked up in two weeks , but what to do before then???
