That's what Georgia wrote. It comes in capsules for people to take and she wanted to sprinkle a little bit over her chicken's feed. I think a little bit is a good idea as long as it is food grade and is used extremely sparingly. I'd rather make my own from good hardwood and let them choose it outside. But only if my silkies are black or standard blue! Charcoal and white, pink, lavender, splash, buff, gray, et... silkies would not mix at all. It'd be worse than the mulberry, watermelon, and tomato chests. Cath
