They say that some things go without being said, but I wanted to make sure this was said - the charcoal being referrenced to in all these posts is *activated* charcoal.  What's the difference, you say?  Activated charcoal is more porous than what they call "block charcoal" - like the plain ol' kind you'd use in your BBQ grill.  That makes it's composition completely different.
   If I find the article again comparing the two, I will post it.
